I've been getting back into Warhammer 40'000. Despite the fact GW are cunts. The lore and game is just still too good.

So I've just revived a Space Marine Homebrew chapter project.

The Void Watchers. A loyalist chapter of Ultramarines descent. Unknown founding. Who despite following the codex closely and being a fierce chapter. Loyal and determined as any of Guilliman's sons.

Though, they possess a hatred borderline on madness against the forces of Chaos. They will abandon their allies to fight even the smallest chaos threat, disobey orders, break ranks and throw themselves with zeal and berserk fury.

They are essentially space Byzantines.

Sergeants have Blue helms

The veteran company has white helms and a white pauldron

Their chapter master (the marine with laurels on his helm) is known as Chapter master Alexius. Wielding two ancient lightning claws. He holds a secret passed down through all the Chapter masters of the Void Watchers. One that could damn the chapter to death.

Am working on my Jay piece and writing up his lore.

I'd think that if I were to ever make an adaptation of his story. Be it, animation, comic, animatic or even a novella.

It wouldn't be like most madness things. Slow and story based. Even if it is boring haha
